The SWAT-T™ Tourniquet is a multipurpose dressing developed for Special Weapons and Tactics teams operating in environments with high incidence of penetrating trauma. The name describes the application method — Stretch, Wrap, and Tuck — and the system is designed to be applied effectively in seconds, even by responders with minimal training.

Beyond extremity bleeding control, the SWAT-T can be used as a pressure dressing over standard gauze, as an elastic bandage for sprains and strains, as a sling, or as a splint securement device. Durable enough for the operational environment — advanced aged and heat/cold tested — it earns its place in IFAKs, vehicle kits, range bags, and EDC loadouts.

Use Modes

  • Tourniquet: Apply for severe arterial extremity bleeding when life is at risk
  • Pressure Dressing: Wrap over gauze for venous/capillary bleeds; tuck or tape to maintain pressure
  • Elastic Bandage: Hold ice, stabilize sprains, sling a shoulder, or splint an extremity
