The Most Advanced EDC Tourniquet Just Got Even Better

      ETQ™ Gen 2

What It Is / What It Isn't

What it is: A compact, field-tested tourniquet for emergency hemorrhage control; designed for EDC, trauma kits, IFAKs, and preparedness setups.
What it isn't: A medical device for treatment of chronic conditions; not a substitute for professional medical training (Stop the Bleed® certification recommended).

Who Should Carry the ETQ™ Gen 2

      • First Responders & Military Operators – Rugged, fast, field-proven for high-stress environments
      • Off-Roaders & Overlanders – Essential addition to vehicle and backcountry first aid kits
      • Everyday Carriers – Ultra-compact profile makes daily carry practical and unobtrusive
      • Safety Managers & Trainers – Pair with blue trainers for realistic Stop the Bleed® courses

      How to Use

      1. Position the tourniquet 2–3 inches above the wound, between the injury and the heart
      2. Tighten the band fully by pulling it through the slot until snug
      3. Twist the windlass until bleeding stops (typically 2–4 full turns)
      4. Secure the windlass in the carabiner lock
      5. Note the time and seek immediate medical attention

Printed instructions and QR code training video included on every tourniquet.

      Common Questions

      Is this approved by CoTCCC?
The CoTCCC hasn't evaluated new tourniquets since 2019. The ETQ™ Gen 2 is engineered to exceed all prior TCCC guidelines and aligns with current Department of Defense working group requirements.

Will this work if I haven't been trained?
The ETQ includes printed instructions and a QR code for emergency guidance. However, we strongly recommend taking a Stop the Bleed® course and practicing with the blue trainer to build confidence and muscle memory.

Why is it smaller than other tourniquets?
The ETQ was designed specifically for everyday carry—to fit in pockets, mag pouches, and small IFAKs without bulk. Despite being 35% smaller, it delivers full stopping power for adults, children, and K9s.

What's the difference between Regular and Wide?
Regular (1") is optimized for compact carry and works on all limb sizes. Wide (1.5") distributes pressure over a larger surface area, which some users prefer for comfort during training or prolonged application scenarios.

Can I practice with my carry tourniquet?
We recommend using the dedicated blue trainer for practice. Repeated applications can degrade the hook-and-loop and band integrity of your carry TQ. Keep your carry TQ sealed and ready.
