      What is an Emergency Trauma Dressing used for?

      The ETD combines a sterile, non-adherent pad with a resilient elastic wrap to apply constant direct pressure over a bleeding wound. It's the standard pressure dressing in IFAKs and trauma kits.

      Do I need training to use trauma components (tourniquet, chest seal, hemostatics)?

      Yes—skills plus gear save time in times of crisis. We recommend Stop the Bleed/bleeding-control and basic first aid;
