MyFAK™ First Aid Kit by My Medic: organized, trauma-capable, ready where you stage it

The MyFAK™ is a compact, MOLLE-compatible IFAK built for the person who wants supplies organized and within reach—at home, in the vehicle, at the range, or on the trail. It comes in two levels on the same form factor: a Standard built for general readiness, and a PRO that adds trauma tools for trained users. Both are HSA/FSA eligible and sold in Red, Black, Coyote, and Green.

What it is — and what it isn’t

The MyFAK is a well-equipped individual first aid kit with real bleeding-control capability, not a basic “boo-boo” box. It is not a full professional trauma rig—there’s no needle decompression or surgical airway here. What it is: an organized, refillable kit that covers everyday wounds and serious bleeding in one grab-and-go package.

Why the MyFAK

The MyFAK opens on a folding-page layout. Supplies sort by category onto color-coded MOD pages, so you can see what you have and reach it without digging. The outer shell uses a Hypalon MOLLE panel that mounts to a headrest, pack, ATV, or range bag, with a tear-away attachment that stays put until you pull it and a hidden shoulder strap for hands-free carry. Because it’s modular, you restock individual supply categories when they run low instead of replacing the whole kit.

Standard vs. PRO

Standard covers general first aid, wound care, burns, blister care, OTC medications, hydration support, and basic bleeding control—including a RATS tourniquet, two chest seals, and a 4″×36″ pressure bandage—organized across 100+ supplies.

PRO adds QuikClot® hemostatic gauze, two NPAs (sizes 28 and 20) for airway management, and a My Medic Marker for time-of-injury notation, for 115+ supplies total. It’s the upgrade for trained users who want trauma-capable tools built into the same footprint.

How it fits your routine

1.    Pick your level. Standard for general/home readiness; PRO if you’ve completed a hemorrhage-control or Stop the Bleed course.

2.    Stage it. Tear-away MOLLE on a headrest, a cabinet at home, or a range/pack attachment.

3.    Learn it. Use the included MyMedic training course code and a Stop the Bleed class so the tools are familiar before you need them.

4.    Refill it. Restock individual MODs as you use them.

• “Isn’t this just an expensive first aid kit?” It’s trauma-capable—tourniquet, chest seals, and pressure dressing in an organized layout—not a drugstore kit.

• “Do I need training?” The basics are usable with minimal training; the trauma tools are most effective with a short bleeding-control course, which is why a free course code is included.

•  “Which level do I need?” If you haven’t trained on hemostatic gauze and airways, Standard is plenty. If you have, PRO puts those tools in the same kit.

•  “Will it fit my setup?” The MOLLE panel mounts to most headrests, packs, and range bags; the shoulder strap makes it portable.
