The HyFin Vented Chest Seal Twin Pack from North American Rescue® sets the standard for the prevention, management, and treatment of open and tension pneumothorax potentially caused by penetrating chest trauma. Two seals are individually packaged so responders can apply one to an entry wound and one to an exit wound — or stage one for later as the situation requires.

The 3-channel vent design allows air to escape through any single open channel, providing redundancy: even if two of the three channels become obstructed, the seal is designed to remain operational. Advanced adhesive technology delivers reliable performance in austere environments where chest seals are most likely to be needed.
