      Frequently Asked Questions

What does the 1st Line IFAK include?

It includes a hemostatic agent, a pressure dressing, a windlass tourniquet component, a chest seal, and burn care supplies in a rip-away pouch.

Do I need training to use this kit?

Yes — every trauma kit includes the same medical-grade supplies trusted by first responders, law enforcement, and military medics. From CAT® tourniquets to hemostatic gauze and HyFin® chest seals, our gear isn’t imitation-grade — it’s built for real emergencies, where performance matters most.Yes — this is a trauma tool, not a substitute for training; hands-on trauma care and Stop the Bleed® training are strongly recommended before you rely on it.

How does it mount to gear?

It's MOLLE compatible and mounts securely to a belt or carrier for quick-pull access on any standard duty gear.

Do I need training to use trauma components (tourniquet, chest seal, hemostatics)?

      Yes—skills plus gear save time in times of crisis. We recommend Stop the Bleed/bleeding-control and basic first aid;

While basic trauma kits can be used effectively with minimal training, it’s highly recommended to complete a bleeding control and first aid course.

Why should I invest in a trauma kit instead of building my own?

Building your own kit is possible, but it’s often more expensive and time-consuming. Our trauma kits are curated by experts and built from experience, using components from industry-leading suppliers or built by U.S. based, trusted brands.

Each kit includes tested, field-proven gear, already organized for real-world use. You save time, eliminate guesswork, and gain peace of mind knowing your kit is mission-ready from day one.

How quickly can my trauma kit ship, and what’s the return policy?

We typically process each order within 1–2 business days, and all kits are backed by our quality guarantee. If your kit arrives damaged or incomplete, we’ll replace it immediately. We stand behind every product we sell because we know when it counts, your gear needs to perform flawlessly.

Can I customize a kit for my department or unit (bulk, POs, tax-exempt)?

Absolutely. We can adjust contents, packaging, and quantities; we support quotes/POs and department procurement. Use the RFQ link for fast scoping aligned to your SOPs and training, or click here.

The NoPulse NoProblem 1st Line IFAK is a duty belt trauma kit built for law enforcement and military personnel who need their critical medical gear on their body — not buried in a bag. It comes pre-loaded with 16 items including a C-A-T® tourniquet, Hemostatic Gauze, and HyFin® Vent chest seal, organized in a MOLLE-compatible 500D pouch sized for first-line carry.

Who the 1st Line IFAK Is For

This kit is designed for operators and officers who carry daily and need immediate access to hemorrhage control tools — without breaking their kit setup or slowing their draw.

      • Patrol officers and deputies on duty belt setups
      • Military personnel running plate carriers or war belts
      • Tactical operators who need self-aid capability at all times
      • Armed professionals who want a pre-built, ready-to-carry solution

What It Is / What It Isn't

It is: A pre-loaded, first-line trauma pouch with professional-grade hemorrhage control supplies, built for on-body carry in operational environments.

It isn't: A full medical kit, a vehicle kit, or a replacement for formal trauma training. It's designed to address life-threatening bleeding in the critical minutes before EMS arrives.

      Key Benefits

      • Always on your body: Mounts to duty belts and MOLLE systems so your kit moves with you, not with your bag
      • One-hand accessible: Designed for self-aid under stress — open, deploy, apply without assistance
      • Pre-loaded and ready: 16 items organized and ready to carry — no sourcing, no assembly required
      • Proven components: C-A-T®, QuikClot®, and HyFin® are the same brands trusted by military and law enforcement worldwide
      • HSA/FSA eligible: Qualifies as a medical preparedness expense under most plans

How It Fits Into Your Carry Setup

      1. Mount it: Attach the pouch to your duty belt, war belt, or plate carrier using the integrated MOLLE webbing
      2. Position it: Place it where your non-dominant hand can reach it — typically 4–5 o'clock on the belt
      3. Know it: Familiarize yourself with the layout before you need it. Practice your draw in a safe environment
      4. Inspect it: Check contents periodically for expiration dates on consumables and replace as needed

Formal trauma training (TCCC, TECC, or Stop the Bleed) is strongly recommended to maximize the effectiveness of any IFAK.

      Your Questions, Answered

      "$150 is a lot for a pouch."
You're not paying for a pouch — you're paying for pre-selected, professional-grade components from brands like C-A-T®, QuikClot®, and HyFin®, assembled and organized for immediate use. Sourcing these individually costs more and takes time you may not have.

"Will it fit my belt/carrier setup?"
The 9.8" × 7" 500D pouch uses standard MOLLE attachment and is compatible with most duty belts, war belts, and plate carriers. If you're unsure, contact us before ordering.

"I'm not sure I need this level of kit."
If you carry a firearm on duty, you're already operating in environments where traumatic injury is a real possibility. A first-line IFAK is the minimum standard recommended by TCCC and most law enforcement agencies for on-body medical carry.

"I don't know how to use all of this."
That's exactly why training matters. The kit is designed to be intuitive, but we recommend completing a TCCC or Stop the Bleed course to build confidence with every item inside.

      "Is this HSA/FSA eligible?"
Yes. This kit qualifies as a medical preparedness expense under most HSA and FSA plans. Check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility.

Add the 1st Line IFAK to your carry setup today. Already running a vehicle or range kit? Consider pairing it with a dedicated vehicle trauma kit for layered coverage wherever your shift takes you.
