Can I pay for ViTAC products directly with my HSA or FSA card?

Yes. As long as your HSA or FSA card is affiliated with a major credit card network (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), you can enter it at checkout just like a debit card. You don't need any prior authorization — just shop, add to cart, and pay.
What's the difference between an HSA and an FSA?

Both let you set aside pre-tax dollars for medical expenses. HSA funds roll over year to year and are tied to high-deductible health plans. FSA funds are employer-set, and most plans have a "use it or lose it" rule — meaning unspent dollars expire at year-end. If you have an FSA, buy before December 31.
Are tourniquets and hemostatic gauze HSA/FSA eligible?

In most cases, yes. Tourniquets and hemostatic gauze are recognized medical devices used to control life-threatening bleeding. They're widely accepted as eligible medical expenses under HSA and FSA guidelines. Some plans may require additional documentation for individual high-cost items — confirm with your plan administrator if you're unsure.
Can I split my payment between an HSA/FSA card and another card?

Will I receive documentation for HSA/FSA reimbursement?

Yes. An itemized receipt is included with your shipping confirmation email. If you need a detailed product contents list for your HSA/FSA administrator, just email us and we'll provide one. We recommend keeping your receipt for your records.
What if my plan requires a Letter of Medical Necessity?

A small number of FSA plans require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) for certain items. This is uncommon for standard first aid kits and supplies, but can apply to specialized trauma gear. Your plan administrator can tell you whether an LMN is required. We can provide detailed product documentation to support your claim.
When does my FSA balance expire?

Most FSA plans reset on January 1 and expire on December 31 — funds don't roll over. Some plans offer a grace period through March 15 or a $610 rollover cap, but this varies by employer. Check with your HR team or plan administrator for your specific deadline.
I'm not sure if I have an HSA or FSA. How do I find out?

Check with your employer's HR department or your health insurance provider. If you're enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP), you likely have access to an HSA. If your employer deducts a fixed benefit amount from your paycheck, that's typically an FSA. You can also check your benefits portal or look for a dedicated HSA/FSA debit card in your wallet.
