Combat Gauze® stops arterial and venous bleeding in seconds
Fast-acting Combat Gauze® from North American Rescue is the ultimate wound care dressing. Tailored to the needs of combat and tactical medical personnel, this hemostatic dressing combines surgical gauze with a proprietary inorganic material to deliver three important benefits. It stops blood flow. It’s inert. It’s non-allergenic.

The material, pliable and familiar to medical personnel, can be fitted to any size or shape wound (including penetrating wounds). Plus, it is easily removed once clotting has taken place. Combat Gauze® comes in rolls four yards long by three inches wide.

The Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care recently recommended Combat Gauze™ as the first-line hemostatic product.

Justin in case

Nicely vacuum packed package. Cant rate something that you only open in a dire emergency, I hope it works when needed.

Real deal every kit needs one

These are genuine and the price is as reasonable as it gets. They work exceptionally well and are an essential addition to ANY first aid kit. However, do check the expiration date, as similar to food, while it may not necessarily be harmful (and can still be used) after the expiration date, it is not guaranteed.

Miter saw accident

Bout it to replace the one I utilized two weeks ago. While trimming a shed in the yard, I accidentally ran my miter saw through the outside of my left forearm, just to the left of my wrist bone. Realizing the situation, I calmly walked to the front of the house where my wife was located. I asked her to retrieve my ITS first aid kit from the prepared bag in my truck, and I promptly applied the dressing to the wound. By the time we reached urgent care, the bleeding had almost completely ceased.

Cant be too safe

Must have. Quickclot works. If you have to stop a bleed this is what you need. Again this is a must have.

For Larger Wounds

The XL Combat Gauze is essentially the same as the standard Combat Gauze but comes in a broader size, offering enhanced efficacy for larger, wide-open wounds. Consider scenarios like a significant chainsaw injury. While functioning similarly to the regular product, this gauze can efficiently cover more area swiftly, eliminating the need for a second packet to fill the same space. QuickClot has proven its effectiveness in combat situations and is trusted by both police and fire units because it consistently delivers results.
