The MyFAK™ Large Medical Kit — Serious Coverage for Families, Groups, and Trained Responders
The MyFAK™ Large is a full-coverage first aid kit built for households, group staging, and trained individuals who need more than a basic kit can offer. Available in Standard (150+ supplies) and PRO (200+ supplies), it scales from everyday family preparedness to advanced trauma response — without requiring you to carry two separate kits.
What Is the MyFAK™ Large / What It Isn't
What it is: A large-format, MOLLE-compatible medical kit with a folding-page layout, color-coded categories, and dual MODs in most supply groups. Designed for 2–6 people across multiple simultaneous scenarios.
What it isn't: A single-person EDC kit or a basic plastic first aid box. If you need a compact solo carry, the original MyFAK or MyFAK Mini is the better fit.
Why the MyFAK™ Large
Most first aid kits run out of supplies the moment a real situation involves more than one person. The MyFAK Large is built around that reality — dual MODs in bleeding control, wound care, burn care, medications, and hydration mean you're not rationing supplies between people or scenarios.
The folding-page system keeps every category visible at once. Color-coded sections eliminate the search. The MOLLE tear-away panel lets you pull the kit free from a headrest, ATV rack, or gear wall in a single motion. A hidden shoulder strap converts it to a carry kit when you need to move.
Standard vs. PRO — Choose Your Level
Standard (150+ supplies) covers bleeding control, wound care, burns, medications, topicals, hydration, fracture care, and tools. Right for families, group outdoor trips, and workplaces that want a primary kit with real depth.
PRO (200+ supplies) adds QuikClot hemostatic gauze, NPA 28, and NPA 20 for trained users who need a complete trauma response — hemorrhage control and airway management — in one kit. Requires prior training to use correctly under stress.

How It Fits Into Your Preparedness Setup
- Choose your level — Standard for family and group preparedness; PRO if you've completed hemorrhage control and airway management training.
- Mount it — MOLLE tear-away attaches to a headrest, gear wall, or ATV rack. Pull free in one motion.
- Stage it — Primary home kit, vehicle kit, or group outdoor kit. The shoulder strap means you can grab and go.
- Know your kit — MyMedic includes a free training course code. Stop the Bleed courses are available at stopthebleed.org.
- Refill as needed — Individual MOD refills are sold separately and snap into the same slots.
Objection Busters
"This seems expensive for a first aid kit." The MyFAK Large contains 150–200+ individual supplies across 15+ categories, organized in a purpose-built MOLLE-compatible shell. Comparable coverage assembled from individual components costs more and takes longer to access. This is a staged system, not a box of bandages.
"I don't have medical training — is the PRO kit right for me?" If you haven't completed hemorrhage control or airway management training, the Standard is the right choice. It covers the vast majority of real-world scenarios. The PRO's QuikClot and NPA tools require prior training to use correctly under stress — MyMedic includes a free training course code with every kit.
"How do I know it'll hold up?" The outer shell uses laser-cut Hypalon MOLLE straps — the same material used in tactical gear. The tear-away panel and hidden shoulder strap are built for repeated deployment, not single use.
"Will my HSA/FSA cover this?" Yes. Pay with your HSA or FSA card at checkout. Contact ViTAC for an itemized receipt if your plan requires documentation.
"What if I need to refill it?" MyMedic sells individual MOD refills that snap directly into the same slots. You don't need to replace the whole kit.

Choose your level — Standard or PRO — and your color (Red, Black, Green, or Coyote). If you're staging a primary kit for a family or group, this is the right choice.
Also consider: The original MyFAK™ by MyMedic for solo carry or vehicle EDC — same folding-page system, compact form factor.
FAQs
How is the MyFAK™ Large different from the original MyFAK? The Large is approximately twice the size — most MOD categories are doubled, there are additional supply types (hydration, fracture care, extended tool set), and it includes a hidden shoulder strap. If you're staging a primary kit for a family or group of 2–6 people, the Large is the right fit. For solo carry or a single-vehicle kit, the original MyFAK or MyFAK Mini is more practical.
What's the difference between Standard and PRO? Standard covers bleeding control, wound care, burns, medications, topicals, hydration, fracture care, and tools — 150+ supplies. PRO adds QuikClot hemostatic gauze and both NPA 28 and NPA 20 med packs for trained users who need advanced hemorrhage control and airway management capability. PRO requires prior training to use the added tools correctly.
Is this kit HSA/FSA eligible? Yes. Pay with your HSA or FSA card at checkout. Contact ViTAC if your plan requires an itemized receipt.
Can I refill individual MODs? Yes — MyMedic sells MOD refills separately. They snap into the same slots as the originals, so you can restock specific categories without replacing the entire kit.
How does the MOLLE mounting work? The outer shell has laser-cut Hypalon MOLLE straps and a tear-away panel. It attaches to a headrest, ATV rack, gear wall, or any MOLLE-compatible surface and pulls free in one motion. A hidden shoulder strap lets you carry it when you're on the move.
Does the PRO kit include both NPA sizes? Yes — the PRO includes both an NPA 28 and NPA 20 med pack, each with Dynalube, gloves, and a hand wipe. This gives trained users options for different patient sizes.
Is this kit appropriate for someone without medical training? The Standard kit is designed for general preparedness and does not require specialized training to use effectively. The PRO kit includes tools — QuikClot and NPAs — that require prior training. MyMedic includes a free training course code with every kit, and Stop the Bleed courses are available at stopthebleed.org.
