Why Filter by Decompression Needle?
Decompression needles signal a kit built for the most serious trauma scenarios — penetrating chest trauma that has progressed to tension pneumothorax. Without decompression, this condition is rapidly fatal. With proper intervention by a trained responder, the patient can be stabilized for transport.
