If You Only Remember This…

  • Organization and community kits are sized for 5+ people — schools, workplaces, churches, large families, mass casualty response, and team operations
  • These kits include redundant supplies, distribution-ready formats (vacuum-sealed individual kits, multi-pack stations), and capacity for multi-casualty incidents
  • Choose based on environment (school, workplace, public venue), expected casualty load, and whether you need a single large kit or multiple distributed kits

What Are Organization & Community Kits (5+ People)?

Organization and community kits scale beyond family-sized first aid into the territory of mass casualty response, institutional preparedness, and multi-person emergency systems. They're built for environments where one or two responders may need to treat multiple casualties simultaneously — active threat scenarios, vehicle accidents involving multiple vehicles, industrial incidents, or natural disaster response.

What's Inside This Collection

  • Mass casualty kits — with multiple tourniquets, hemostatic gauze, and chest seals for treating 5–40+ patients
  • STOMP Medical Backpacks — fully-stocked team medic systems for tactical and EMS use
  • Crisis Incident Response Kits — institutional kits sized for schools, offices, and public venues
  • First Responder Jump Bags — multi-casualty trauma bags for EMS, fire, and law enforcement teams
  • Classroom lockdown systems — 5-gallon shelter-in-place kits for 30+ students

How to Choose

1. Match Capacity to Risk Profile
5–10 person workplace or small community: 5–10 person trauma kit. School or campus: classroom lockdown kits + 30–40 person mass casualty kits. Public venue or stadium: distributed bleeding control stations.

2. Plan Distribution
Single large kits work for centralized response. Distributed kits (multiple stations across a facility) reduce response time. For schools and large workplaces, distributed bleeding control stations are typically more effective than a single central kit.

3. Verify Multi-Casualty Capability
Quality 5+ person kits include 5+ tourniquets, multiple chest seal sets, and enough hemostatic gauze and pressure dressings to handle several casualties — not just one casualty's worth of supplies in a bigger bag.

4. Train Multiple Responders
Organization-level preparedness requires multiple trained responders, not a single "trauma person." Run Stop the Bleed® across teams; standardize on familiar gear; drill regularly.

5. Consider Compliance
Workplaces should align with ANSI/ISEA Z308.1 and OSHA requirements. Schools should match district lockdown plans. Public venues may have additional regulatory requirements.

Who These Kits Are For (And Who They're Not For)

This is for you if: You're a safety manager, school administrator, security director, EMS team lead, or facility coordinator outfitting an organization, community group, or institution.

This may not be for you if: You're stocking individual or family kits (see Team/Group/Family or IFAK collections).
