What Are Team/Group/Family Kits (2–4 People)?
Team, group, and family kits are mid-capacity first aid and trauma systems sized for households, small teams, and group activities. They scale up from individual IFAKs by including redundant supplies — multiple tourniquets, more hemostatic gauze, additional pressure dressings — so a single responder can treat multiple casualties before EMS arrives.
This is the most common kit size for the typical preparedness scenario: a family vehicle, a small business or office, a hiking group, or a household trauma response.

How to Choose
1. Match Group Composition
Couple or small family: 2-person kit. Family of 3–4: 4-person kit. Larger families: scale up to 5+ person kits in the Organizations/Community collection.
2. Match Environment
Vehicle: compact 2–4 person trauma kit. Outdoor: family-sized adventure kit with trauma capability. Home: comprehensive family kit. Tactical: 2–4 person trauma backpack.
3. Verify Redundancy
Quality multi-person kits include 2+ tourniquets, multiple pressure dressings, and enough hemostatic gauze for more than one casualty. Don't accept a "4-person kit" with only one tourniquet.
4. Plan for Skill Distribution
In a family or team, train at least two people on basic trauma response. The most capable kit doesn't help if the only trained person is the casualty.
