The first part of the team is made up of the founders of Luminary Global, a veteran-owned and operated company based in St. Petersburg, FL. Luminary Global’s foundational knowledge comes from their leadership’s military experience and tenured business experience of supplying emergency products to first responders, safety professionals, and the military. The second part of ViTAC is comprised of four former U.S. Army Green Berets, bringing institutional knowledge of emergency management. The resulting team is ViTAC Solutions, a tactical aid company designed to serve both the military veteran community, law enforcement, and tactical professionals with direct-to-consumer supplies, including first aid kits and medical supplies that embody the essence of their Golden Hour principle.
The idea of ViTAC started over a cup of coffee between Justin McAllister and Valerie Lavin of Luminary Global, who first crossed paths through Action Zone, a veteran-exclusive entrepreneur support organization founded by Lavin. McAllister then solicited the aid of former teammates Lindsey Meringer, Sterling Seizert, and Paul Loos. Their combined military experience – over 25 deployments and more than 40 years in special operations — is augmented by the deep industry knowledge provided by Luminary's COO, Jeremy Lavin. Together, they comprise a formidable team with a winning combination of military precision and medical supply expertise.
