The HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Compact – Twin Pack from North American Rescue is the go-to solution for penetrating chest trauma. Designed to treat open or tension pneumothorax, this twin pack features two compact, individually packaged vented chest seals, allowing for rapid application to entry and exit wounds. Each seal utilizes a 3-channel vent design that ensures continuous airflow out while preventing air from entering the chest cavity, even if two channels become blocked. Advanced adhesive gel technology provides superior grip in extreme environments—blood, sweat, hair, or dust won’t stop it from sticking. This pack is about 25% smaller than the standard HyFin Vent and includes a gauze pad for wound preparation. Lightweight and rugged, it fits perfectly in IFAKs, trauma kits, and duty bags.

Simple, compact, should work great

I have not used these chest seals in real life, though the compact size seems to be a more than sufficient size despite its "compact" title. The compact version fits much more easily into my small medical kit.

It's small and handy for my BOB pack.

I bought four of them for my BOB pack. They are small and lightweight. In the Army,i was taught to use the plastic wrapper from my wound bandage pack to help seal a sucking chest wound. This is such a huge improvement that I'm going to buy more for my car and around the house.
